Shanti's Pack Dog Hiking Adventures
Small, curated pack hikes in the Wasatch foothills. River outings, enrichment, and calm impulse work, Monday through Thursday.
Adventure that leaves dogs balanced, not wired
Many dogs spend their days indoors, under-stimulated and full of energy with nowhere to put it. A quick walk around the block rarely reaches the part of them that needs real movement, real scent, and real nature.
Shanti's Pack is different. Monday through Thursday, I gather a small, carefully matched group and head into the foothills for structured off-leash adventures. Dogs sniff, wade, climb, and practice gentle impulse control, and they come home settled instead of strung out.
Because the pack stays small, every dog is watched, guided, and kept safe.

Everything a pack membership includes
- Small, curated packs, a goal of eight dogs and a firm cap
- Off-leash foothill trails and seasonal river outings
- Structured enrichment, scent work, and calm impulse practice
- Close supervision and gentle guidance for the whole group
- Door-to-door pickup and drop-off within the service area
- A tired, balanced dog at the end of the day
Pack hikes run Monday through Thursday. Reach out to see if your dog is a good fit for the current group.
What a pack day looks like
Morning pickup
I collect your dog from home and introduce them calmly to the day's small group.
On the trail
We hike, sniff, wade, and practice easy impulse work in the foothills, always at the pack's pace.
Home and settled
Your dog returns pleasantly tired, regulated, and ready to rest.
Why the pack works so well
- Small groups mean your dog is never lost in a crowd
- Nature-informed structure that regulates rather than overstimulates
- A trusted, consistent human who knows your dog by name
- Tired, balanced dogs and a calmer home
